Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. She was born in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. The name of her can be spelled by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through Decca Records Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise from music bloggers and the press. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was made for an advertisement of John Lewis, and Nature Boy is an Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry's support for the song Runaway in a blog post added to the musician's appreciation. It was her birthday. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding a piano in her attic and becoming enthralled by the sound it could produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music, not for a job or a hobby however, as a chance to develop. Thus, she began with her own music. Her inspirations include famous writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her love for Bjork's style. Her mother had said that her songs could not only help her achieve fame but also make others see their significance within the global community and see the possibilities for her songs and her music, she was inspired to start performing publicly. She began playing the piano at age six and making music when she was 9 years old. The family did not have any idea about it until she reached the age of 14. Aurora had no idea of being a famous singer. According to her, she just likes to write songs. She claims that music is her most preferred way to feel anything.
